being in New York just makes you feel classier!

I meant to do this weeks ago, but my amazing Nana, Mrs. Sandra Pybus, took my mom and me on a trip to the big NY!
At first thought, I get really nervous and stressed about leaving the comfort of my home like a little girl..
especially to go somewhere so hustling like New York, and I was going to have to dress nice and try to not look like such a tourist and navigate the subway. I had a minor panic attack while packing.
Only to find that I was such a nerd and I had the time of my life!

I'm just going to touch on all the places we went and show you some pictures
and then have a whole other post for all the great food (I mean.. I know that's why you're reading this)
We stayed right in the middle of Times Square at the Double Tree, stay there if you ever go!
Saw the Broadway musical, Memphis - SO GREAT!, church at Manhattan COC, toured the MOMA, and the Mavs won!! The next day we went to see Washington Square Park, NYU, Twin Towers, Battery Park, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. Also a quick accidental Subway ride to Brooklyn and a long stroll down the shops of canal street. Tuesday was Museum of  Natural History, the Guggenheim, a walk through Bloomingdale's, and one of the most exciting things, WICKED!
-Seriously, See Wicked. Sometime in your life, you have to do it!
On our last day we went to the top of the Rock, (Rockefeller Center)
and did some light shopping around there.
Sadly headed to the airport and said goodbye to Nana.
Where Mom and I began our Delta airline nightmare but that's a story that needs to be told in person!

It was such a fun trip, I loved spending this time with my grandma and I'm so thankful and appreciative of the time she spent planning this trip! Love you Nana!
